The usual Type 1 fonts are single-byte fonts. Groff only deals with Latin-1 characters (see groff_char(7)). > Any other ideas? =20 If you use unicode character outside of the Latin-1 set, you're in trouble. You'll have to find or make a font that includes those characters = and matches your body text font, and then replace all instances of those characters with the appropriate font changing commands for groff.
