I had to change line 39 of src/support/suexec.c from "login_cab" to "login_cap" and add -lutil to the libraries used when suexec loaded to get the 10/11/99 version to compile. The first change is in patch-fe. With those changes it compiles and installs perfectly (using make -DSUEXEC), thanks. I sent a note to Hetzel about this.
