Does anyone know where I can get a list of supported ide cdrw drives. Also, I've now seen this error posted a couple of times by different people, but I still haven't seen a response to it. Trying to burn a cd using burncd as follows: burncd -t -f /dev/cdrom1 -s4 data 4.2-install.iso fixate dies at the end of the write with # burncd -t -f /dev/cdrom1 -s4 data 4.2-install.iso fixate next writeable LBA 0 writing from file 4.2-install.iso size 652450 KB written this track 652450 KB (100%) total 652450 KB fixating CD, please wait.. burncd: ioctl(CDRIOCCLOSEDISK): Input/output error If I leave off the fixate, it doesn't die with the error, but the cd is not readable in any machine. I have burned one cd on this machine fine, before I recompiled my kernel. At this stage, would it be acceptable to contact the author ? (sos@freebsd.org) and request assistance ? -- - Wayne Pascoe E-mail: wayne.pascoe@realtime.co.uk Phone : +44 (0) 20 7544 4668 Mobile: +44 (0) 788 431 1675 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
