/ONECPU switch??? hlyfkgsht!, that's probably *not* gonna be a driver issue! that sounds like the hardworking hw engineers at creative chose to use bitpatterns on the bus that where already in use for SMP. the only way a driver is gonna fix that is to make the driver smart enuf to 'turn off' bus access from the card when the cpus are communicating. this would probably lead very rich, timbreful, realistic and spatially correct bad noises being emitted from the card whenever it's asked to play a sound....
