pcm0: <VIA VT82C686A> port 0xe400-0xe403,0xe000-0xe003,0xdc00-0xdcff irq 10 at device 7.5 on pci0

i have a my radio plugged into the line input on the sound card

i want to be able to record it to disk. i set the recording bit with xgmixer and use lame like this

lame -r - test.mp3 < /dev/dsp

it worked when i used linux

does the recording bit even work with freebsd and this sound card, it would be nice if i could get it to work so i dont have to buy a sb16

thanks

adam
