Notes: - The graphical XFree86 config did not start. I ended up copying my XFree86 config file from my 4.6-RELEASE partition. Worked fine. - I noticed that there is no schg flag on /kernel . I looked briefly through the filesystem looking for any chflag flags but did not find any. - Downloaded and built qt-x11-free-3.0.5 with only a minor glitch in a makefile. No compiler problems. - Downloaded and built KDE 3.0.3. Several makefile problems but again, no compiler problems. Couldn't finish because of time pressures. Cheers, jpb === Output of dmesg follows: Copyright (c) 1992-2002 The FreeBSD Project.
