As requested by Garrett, a more detailed description:

 1. Exact steps to reproduce this issue:
 - use 7.1-PRERELEASE/amd64
 - set "MAKE_ARGS=-j 3" in /etc/make.conf
 - use an updated ports tree (portsnap fetch && portsnap update)
 - cd devel/subversion
 - make install clean

 2. What occurred between the point of failure and the point where it
 succeeded?
 - I've commented out "MAKE_ARGS=-j 3" in /etc/make.conf
 - cd devel/subversion
 - make install clean

 3. When did you last sync your ports tree?
I did sync my ports tree before trying to build devel/subversion, on
 Nov-16-2008.

 Thomas
