My script just got silently skipped, all > other services are starting up fine. > > What's wrong? > Does it work if you run it manually? does it start if you run /etc/rc.d/localpkg start not certain this will help but try adding verbose_loading="YES" to /boot/loader.conf to see if that give more info on startup. Also try adding set -x to your script to enable more debugging output is you think you need it Vince
