I suspect that things are working, but that the console output is
going to an unexpected place, so make sure the SRM console setting
matches reality.  Eg, if you're running on a graphics head, do 'set
console graphics' & if you're with a serial console, do 'set console
serial' from the SRM console prompt (>>> )
