you should add:

options NMBCLUSTERS xxx

to your kernel where xxx is derived from some formula posted a few weeks
back.

seriously folks shouldn't this be easier to find out than someone asking
on the lists once a month?  maybe a comment in LINT?

or something at least in LINT that says:
# For really loaded machines you need to set BLAH to X, and ...
