You will have to port this to FBSD, I believe, and you will have to get the XFree86 source to get something to port. Obviously, if you got the installation to go, syscons is working. If there a BIOS option to turn off the integrated chip video, you might be able to bring X up on a PCI video card (performance hit?). I looked into an 810 system for home and decided it was too much hassle for the money saved. Is anyone working on a FBSD version of agpgart.o (as a kernel module, perhaps)? > Thanks. > -- M. L.
