I just acquired a box with a Mitsumi FX240 CDROM drive. When I tried to install 2.2.5 on it, the USERCONFIG failed to detect the drive. The old port 300 IRQ 10 does not work on this one either. AFAIK, It's a PNP device. Has anyone been playing with it? Would appreciate any pointers.
