    That's just one side of the problem. I always build the CLI with a
    *very* different set of ./configure switches from that of mod_php4.

    Where I could previously tweak the port's Makefile to get almost
    what I wanted there's now a big obstacle.

    Fortunately, php builds just fine without using the port, it's just
    that I thought the port system was meant to help me, not make me
    bypass it. :)
