Hello

  While it can't substitute a good book on Unix the "Unix Help for Users"
available on http://www.ucs.ed.ac.uk/Unixhelp/get_source.html can help
you to start using unix. Look at it using mosaic, netscape or lynx 
and move it to your local machine for a future reading. I've apended the 
index below.
