This is what branches are for. CVSup will ignore any branch points in the CVS files. Simply checkout your sources with a -jKHETAN tag and you'll keep your hackery clear of everyone else's. :-) > Also, is there any way to place a file in a directory and tell make > not to do anything in it (something like a .makeignore) ?
