The rum driver is very flacky on CURRENT - on my machine a "make fetchindex" makes the driver
freeze and I have to do a ifconfig wlan0 down/ifconfig wlan0 up in order to get it running again. It seems
that it has something to do with "fetch" that triggers the issue
