Synopsis: Printing extremely slow when printing with a Deskjet 540. State-Changed-From-To: open-closed State-Changed-By: gpalmer State-Changed-When: Sun May 14 15:17:59 PDT 1995 State-Changed-Why: This wasn't a problem with the kernel, rather the port used didn't generate interrupts. Switching to polled mode fixed the problems.
