I have followed this diskussion for a while and tested also this rescan
feature. All went smoothly and my Toshiba cd-rom was found but I can't
mount any cdrom. I can play audio cdroms with cdcontrol and use tosha BTW.
When I plug my cd-rom as usual there's no errors on mounting time and all
is ok, so I think it's a hotplug bug or my mistake ...

Error message follows:

May 17 18:25:40 myhakas /kernel: cd0: BLANK CHECK asc:64,0 Illegal mode for
this track

This is my old Walnut Creek 2.2.2-RELEASE cdrom and it's a plain iso-9660,
right ? There are no other SCSI devices as well. I decided it's a very
simple situation but ...
