Was going to be my next suggestion... I couldn't find 'bc' in GENERIC
for amd64.

I assume you substituted the correct interface name? (bce0 in place of =
bc0)

Just took a quick peek at my pfsense machine hp D530 USDT which has a =
broadcom gigabit NIC, phpsysinfo reports bge0: Broadcom NetXtreme =
Gigabit Ethernet Controller, ASIC rev. 0x3003. Might be worth trying =
that driver.
