That's actually bass ackwards 8)  What we want is access to BIOS routines
that do things that FreeBSD can't.  Obviously, that means not remapping
the b/c/d segments so that BIOSen that live there are still available.

More specifically, the BIOS disk functions as provided by nonstandard 
disk controllers are the primary goal.
