Hi,

I'm trying to run ibm java 1.4.1 or 1.3.1 using FreeBSD 5.1 or 5.2.,

/usr/local/linux-ibm-jdk1.4.1/bin/java

but I get the following error:

JVMLH050: Signal stack registration failed (errno=22).
Abort (core dumped)linux_sigaltstack(0xbfbff6bc,0x8052044)
ERR#22 'Invalid argument'

I tried to build the kernel with options USER_LDT
but it doesn't seem to be supported anymore.
Here is the truss output:

JVMLH050: Signal stack registration failed (errno=22).
write(2,0xbfbfcff0,55) = 55 (0x37)
linux_rt_sigprocmask(0x1,0xbfbff560,0x0,0x8) = 0 (0x0)
linux_kill(0x69d0,0x6) = 0 (0x0)
SIGNAL 6
SIGNAL 6
Process stopped because of: 16
process exit, rval = 134
Abort (core dumped)

Any idea what could be wrong ? Is IBM JVM
working in any other version ?

Thanks.
Ivan
