=46reeBSD 5.1
CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz (2793.02-MHz 686-class CPU)
Single Seagate Cheetah SCSI 320 disk (SEAGATE ST318453LC)
LSI single-channel SCSI 320 controller (LSILogic 1030 Ultra4 Adapter)

I'm configuring a new computer and I'm experiencing errors during shutdown=
=20
when the system is attempting to sync:

syncing disks, buffers remaining... 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2
giving up on 2 buffers

The number of buffers varies, with 2 or 3 being the usual number. On reboot=
,=20
filesystem corruption is present.

The filesystems are mounted:

/dev/da0s1a on / (ufs, local)
devfs on /dev (devfs, local)
/dev/md0 on /tmp (ufs, local, soft-updates)
/dev/da0s1g on /home (ufs, local, soft-updates)
/dev/da0s1f on /usr (ufs, local, soft-updates)
/dev/da0s1d on /var (ufs, local, soft-updates)
/dev/da0s1e on /usr/obj (ufs, asynchronous, local)

Suggestions?
