When booting from an alternate kernel this afternoon, I noticed that the
kern.bootfile sysctl variable isn't getting set properly.

I had to manually do the following:

sysctl -w kern.bootfile=/kernel.test

Before netstat would work.

This is with -current from Saturday on a 433au. I booted the other kernel
by typing this at the loader prompt:

boot kernel.test
