Yes it does. Don't you think that if it didn't, someone other than an
AOL user would have spotted it first?

A raw floppy disk is 1474560 bytes. boot.flp is 1474560 bytes. Go figure.
(I suspect a floppy disk may be 1.38MB after having a Microsoft filesystem
put on it, which as the docs say, you don't need.)
