The current sound code changes the API/ABI (at least sysctl stuff).  
API/ABI changes are not allowed in -stable except there's a very  
strong reason (e.g. security).

Because of this there's no MFC scheduled.

The binary only drivers for -stable from Ariff come with this API/ABI  
change and you are using them on your own risk.
