Just a question:

Can I use a regular file as a character device in
FreeBSD ( like a loop device in linux ) ?

If not, which guidelines should I follow whe writing
a driver for such a pseudo device ?
Is there anithing nasty about buffering twice or so ?

Thank You
Best Regards

DM
