I'm seeing this on a non-virtualized laptop.

Core Duo T2300 (1.8GHz Prescott architecture)

Occurs randomly with either IDE or AHCI enabled on ICH-7 or on a USB
external drive.

Seems to only occur under heavy loads such as recompiling libreoffice,
KDE or similar.

Maybe a race condition in buffer management?
