Well your port does not compile on my machine (3.0-RELEASE). Getting some
valueable input from this list, I got ACE compiled using egcs 1.1.1 with
the downside that four tests fail (including one core dump).

I will see whether or not I find the time to make a port out of it. The
problem I see here is that the necessary patches include one for egcs
itself.
