The following reply was made to PR ports/69863; it has been noted by GNATS. From: paul beard <paulbeard@mac.com> To: freebsd-gnats-submit@FreeBSD.org, paul beard <paulbeard@mac.com> Cc: Subject: Re: ports/69863: audio/audacity 1.2.1 won't launch: looking for missing lib Date: Mon, 2 Aug 2004 16:13:12 -0700 This can be closed. I think I have worked out the error of my ways. in http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=67915, I was having some problems with gettext: the build would fail if I made a package (something I generally do) and follow-on builds would fail as a result. While I was working out what was wrong, I built gettext manually and some bits of that were confusing the glib and gtk builds I did later through the ports system. I just did a "make uninstall-recursive" from ${PORTS}/devel/gettext/work/gettext-$VERSION and now everything seems to be fine. -- Paul Beard <www.paulbeard.org/> paulbeard [at] mac.com
