FWIW, I just rm -rf /usr/ports and re-cvsup'd, and I get the same
results. :(

I've seen an odd thing though:

# rm -rf databases=20
rm: databases/mysql-gui: Directory not empty
rm: databases/mysql2pgsql/files: Directory not empty
rm: databases/mysql2pgsql: Directory not empty
rm: databases/mysql323-client: Directory not empty
rm: databases: Directory not empty
# ls -Ra
=2E/ ../ databases/
=2E/databases:
=2E/ mysql-gui/ mysql323-client/
=2E./ mysql2pgsql/

=2E/databases/mysql-gui:
=2E/ ../

=2E/databases/mysql2pgsql:
=2E/ ../ files/

=2E/databases/mysql2pgsql/files:
=2E/ ../

=2E/databases/mysql323-client:
=2E/ ../
#

is there some odd way to hide files I don't know about? :)

A.
