Dear Sir, I'm trying to install FreeBSD 4.7 onto a device. It's a PIII-1.2 GHz w/1024MB RAM with RAID. RAID controller is a Promise FastTrak100 with two 40GB Maxtor hard disks attached. I can boot the Kernel floppy and MFS root floppy with no problem. After all the conflicts had been resolved, /stand/sysinstall Main Menu was displayed. Then I selected a "standard" installation. I got a message --- No disks found! I configured one of disks as a logical disk, another unplugged. I'm wondering if FreeBSD 4.7 can be installed in above device. Any help would be appreciated.
