I have an XFree86 4.0.1 setup with on-board Intel815 videocontroller
on ASUS CUSL2 motherboard.

>Description:
X server crashes whenever I switch to another virtual console using
Alt-F? key combination. It dies with the following messages on the
console:
======================================================================
pgetbl_ctl: 0x1001 pgetbl_err: 0x0
ipeir: 0 iphdr: 0
LP ring tail: 8 head: 0 len: 0 start 0

instdone: ff7b instpm: 0
memmode: 24 instps: 0
hwstam: 9ac7 ier: 0 imr: 9ac7 iir: 0
space: 65520 wanted 65528
Fatal server error:
lockup
When reporting a problem related to a server crash, please send
the full server output, not just the last messages.
This can be found in the log file "/var/log/XFree86.0.log".
X connection to :0.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).
xinit: connection to X server lost.

>How-To-Repeat:

>Fix:
Do not switch to other virtual consoles but this workaround really
sucks.
