.Tn is ``trade name''.  There's nothing special about machine
architectures that requires this treatment; it's just that all of the
existing such architectures are trade names.  (I'm not actually
certain that .Tn should be used for Alpha; IIRC .Tn in typeset output
generates small-caps, and ``Alpha'' in small-caps would not be
appropriate.)
