http://www.vmunix.com/fbsd-book/ already has a lot of newbie-oriented
stuff.  http://www.freebsd.org/projects/newbies.html lists many resources
(online and published).  You might want to see if you could hitch up with
an existing effort instead of reinventing the wheel group  :)
