Hi,

I am having what appears to be problems getting the partitions. Here's what
I have as far as hard drives with their geometries from Maxtor which I set
using the partition editor's 'G' option and the error/warnings I get during
the creation of the slices. Can anyone see a problem?

I have a 100MB Swap partition on sd3.

I have looked at pfdisk and that gives me totally different geometries like:

 LXT-535S 510/64/32
 MXT-1240S 150/255/63
 LXT-213S 202/64/32

However, using the geometries from pfdisk and using the geometries from
Maxtor, doesn't matter. I still get the errors. When I attempt to delete
the partitions and start over, it has even different geometries that it's
using like:

 LXT-535S 510/64/32 now has 2021/11/47
 MXT-1240S 150/255/63 now has 3671/15/44
 LXT-213S 202/64/32 now has 1703/4/61

All this is driving me nuts. I also can't mount the root partition, so I
know something is wrong. If anyone has a solution, I"d really like to hear it.

Thanks,
Mark
