Hi,
  Sorry its not easily discernible what your name is from you reply.

Is that Netbios over TCP/IP you're referring to? If so, then in the
section called Advanced TCP/IP Settings under Local Area Connection
Properties has "Enable TCP/IP over Netbios" radio button ticked /
enabled.

Its proving very difficult to understand what the procedure is for
running samba on FreeBSD as a PDC in this (Win2K Clients) situation. Not
a lot of *BSD-related docs out there, and most of the =A3inux ones refer
to a samba 2.0.x

I *think* I've got things set up okay of the FBSD box, but cannot seem
to get Win2K to play nice. Do get back to me if you've got any more
suggestions, please. Thanks again for taking the time to reply.
