I have set up a tape drive, correctly I believe, yet I keep getting "device not configured" errors from it. See: http://www.FreeBSD.org/cgi/getmsg.cgi?fetch=2849646+2851949+/usr/local/www/db/text/2000/freebsd-questions/20001029.freebsd-questions Some have said that this error indicates no tapes in the drive, but the drive does have tapes in it. What else could it indicate?
