Yes, I've talked to him.  His cpufreq system isn't going to be
in 5.3-RELEASE; I just want to throw up some temporary housing
for Enhanced SpeedStep while we wait for the cathedral to be
built.  (Taking advantage of the fact that ports/ freezes a few
weeks later than src/, as well.)
