This change has been discussed on -current and -arch off and on for the past year. Often not the main topic of the email, but mentioned never the less. I would give you a better pointer to the various mentions of it, but our "lovely" mail archive search engine is useless on "kernel.ko". It was also discussed between several people at FreeBSDcon last year. > I'm not complaining about the change itself (or picking on you David, this > is a general moan :-) ), just that an advance warning, I probably should have given an advance warning a few days before pulling the switch, but both my i386 and alpha boxes have been victims of drive-by commits, and in case it happened again RSN, I wanted to be able to keep my matching modules and kernel together easier than before. -- -- David (obrien@FreeBSD.org) To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
