 There were some discussions about regressions when booting w/o ACPI in
 CURRENT 
 (e.g. http://docs.freebsd.org/cgi/mid.cgi?200403111246.12192.jhb )
 
 So I guessed trying to boot a 4.x kernel would be a good test.
