Are you using gnome? I've noticed similar behavior. Mozilla will often show the gnome foot print in black, and things are quite unreadable. It depends on the site. I've also observed similar things in other applications from time to time. I don't know if it's a bug in gnome, X or the applications. sdb -- sdb@ssr.com
