Yes, though 85Mb is very tight.  I once installed FreeBSD 2.1, with X
in 100Mb (including 24Mb of swap), but that was a very tight squeeze.

The installation process will guide you through the details.  FreeBSD is
capable of reading / writing FAT disks, so sharing files with Win95 is
normally easy.  I'm not familiar with your system, nor with 'software 
overlay-dependent drives', so you may have some problems there.
