I don't know why they are different. /usr/local/include/png.h indicates that it's v1.2.6 and the png.c and png.h in /usr/ports/graphics/png/work/libpng-1.2.7 indicates that it is indeed 1.2.7. I've used 'find' to search for other copies of png.h on my system and I can't find any in /usr/local or /usr/X11R6... Quincey
