Hi, I have a PS/2 mouse from the vendor 'mi' Micro Innovations and it hangs after some time. This happens with a generic KERNEL. The syslog shows that when the incident happens it logs the DEBUG message, "psmintr: out of sync (0xc000 != 0x0000)". I am not very much conversant with PS/2 protocol, but it is very frustating to have the mouse hang every now and then. As a remedy I need to killall -9 moused; and restart it. Is this a known problem and is it specific to this device "PS/2 from Micro Innovations" and is there any solution for this ? I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks, Srinivasa.
