If you want to move to 4.17, you might as well wait 2-3 weeks for 4.18 to
come out (unless there is some major glaring bug in 4.17.86 that hasn't
been caught in the past few weeks).  Among other things, they finally
merged all the code changes from HP's Wildabeast (sp?) port, which added a
few nice things.
