I have seen it, at least this same problem - whether it is the same cause or not remains to be seen. It could be as simple as increasing the voltage on your cpu slightly; or even a change of cpu. Some motherboards with auto cpu voltage can rate the voltage a little low with some types of processors. It seems to be a fairly common problem too, and only really comes into play when the processors are used fairly intensively, such as when compiling or using graphics applications.
