Yes, I cvsup-ed the ports collection just a few minutes prior to my
first email.  Should I blow away the whole ports tree and re-grab them?

The relevant lines in my cvsup file are as follows:

*default host=cvsup14.FreeBSD.org
*default base=/usr/local/etc/cvsup
*default prefix=/usr
*default release=cvs tag=.
*default delete use-rel-suffix
ports-all
