I like that idea. 

I was for a while running two openvpn instances, it was a right pita modifying
one.

*t_j* i.e. '/etc/rc.d/openvpn restart link1' will restart the process for
+/etc/openvpn/link1.conf
*t_j* it was discussed in #bsdports briefly
