For authoritative information, you should ask a BSD/OS group.  We're
FreeBSD here, and it's not (yet) the same thing.

I don't use Imap, but I recently had a visit from a cyrus developer.
He recommends cyrus :-)

The other server in the Ports Collection is imap-uw.  It seems that
there have been security problems in the past, though my visitor
doesn't know whether they've been resolved.
