Well, you could pull the *ENTIRE* distribution, which would be HUNDREDS of megabytes large, but somehow I don't think you want to do that. The idea is to pull the directories that you want, and leave everything else. You at the very least need /bin and /floppies (this is rooted at ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/2.1.5-RELEASE/).
